Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2010 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Students In Tiananmen (+3 Others, 4 Works) by Liu Heung Shing. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 24,000.00 – 32,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,321.15) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Liu Heung Shing have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2007 the work The Youths In Siamo, A Hair Salon In Beijing, Workers Removing The Portrait Of Mao, Students In Tiananmen Square (Four Works) was auctioned for USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,486.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2010 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Students In Tiananmen (+3 Others, 4 Works) von Liu Heung Shing zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 24.000,00 – 32.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.321,15) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Liu Heung Shing konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2007 die Arbeit The Youths In Siamo, A Hair Salon In Beijing, Workers Removing The Portrait Of Mao, Students In Tiananmen Square (Four Works) für USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.486,32) versteigert.
