Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy, which included the work Poem In Regular Script by Liu Chunlin. The price achieved of USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,255.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liu Chunlin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 21,250.00 (€ 18,925.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poem In Regular Script von Liu Chunlin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.255,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liu Chunlin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 18.925,90).
