Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,528.82). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Liu Chunlin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script, which sold at auction in March 2019 for USD 21,250.00 (€ 18,925.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script von Liu Chunlin kam im September 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.528,82) einen neuen Besitzer.
