Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script by Liu Chunlin was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,528.82). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Liu Chunlin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script, which sold at auction in March 2019 for USD 21,250.00 (€ 18,925.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script von Liu Chunlin kam im September 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.528,82) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Liu Chunlin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script beobachtet, die im März 2019 für USD 21.250,00 (€ 18.925,90) versteigert wurde.
