Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2017 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas, which included the work Calligraphy by Liu Chunlin. The price achieved of HKD 59,000.00 (€ 6,737.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Liu Chunlin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script, which sold at auction in March 2019 for USD 21,250.00 (€ 18,925.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2017 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von Liu Chunlin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 59.000,00 (€ 6.737,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Liu Chunlin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script beobachtet, die im März 2019 für USD 21.250,00 (€ 18.925,90) versteigert wurde.
