Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tunis by Lionel Townsend Crawshaw was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in November 2020. The price achieved of GBP 2,550.00 (€ 2,846.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lionel Townsend Crawshaw have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Summer Holidays in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 12,250.00 (€ 14,297.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tunis von Lionel Townsend Crawshaw wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.550,00 (€ 2.846,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lionel Townsend Crawshaw auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Summer Holidays im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.250,00 (€ 14.297,94).
