Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Newmarket - the finish of a classic, 1960; and Newmarket, The Rowley Mile - the Dip by Lionel Dalhousie Robertson Edwards was sold in the Sporting & Wildlife Art auction at Christies in London in July 2014. The price achieved of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,045.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lionel Dalhousie Robertson Edwards achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Meet of the Quorn in December 2000 with an auction result of USD 76,375.00 (€ 81,353.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Newmarket - the finish of a classic, 1960; and Newmarket, The Rowley Mile - the Dip von Lionel Dalhousie Robertson Edwards wurde im Juli 2014 in der Auktion Sporting & Wildlife Art bei Christies in London versteigert.
