In the Sporting & Wildlife Art auction, the work More dirt, less hurt - a fall in the ploughlands sold for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 11,036.50) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lionel Dalhousie Robertson Edwards have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Meet of the Quorn in December 2000 with an auction result of USD 76,375.00 (€ 81,353.86).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lionel Dalhousie Robertson Edwards auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Meet of the Quorn im Dezember 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 76.375,00 (€ 81.353,86).
