Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Viewing Waterfall by Lin Qingni was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. The price achieved of HKD 15,000.00 (€ 1,716.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 12,000.00 – 22,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lin Qingni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sketch Of Kowloon, which sold at auction in November 2016 for HKD 44,840.00 (€ 5,464.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Viewing Waterfall von Lin Qingni kam im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 15.000,00 (€ 1.716,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 12.000,00 – 22.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lin Qingni mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sketch Of Kowloon beobachtet, die im November 2016 für HKD 44.840,00 (€ 5.464,05) versteigert wurde.
