A top price for Lin Qingni - as previously expected
The work Sketch Of Kowloon by Lin Qingni was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in November 2016. The price achieved of HKD 44,840.00 (€ 5,464.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 38,000.00 – 48,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sketch Of Kowloon is the most expensive artwork by Lin Qingni that we have observed at auctions so far.
