This artwork by Lin Jingjing achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work My Promise For Your Happiness No. 9 sold for HKD 250,000.00 (€ 23,251.62) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lin Jingjing - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work My Promise for Your Happiness No. 8, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 62,534.11).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Lin Jingjing erzielte im April 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art wurde die Arbeit My Promise For Your Happiness No. 9 für HKD 250.000,00 (€ 23.251,62) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lin Jingjing mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit My Promise for Your Happiness No. 8 beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 62.534,11) versteigert wurde.
