Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Sothebys in Beijing held the auction Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work My Promise For Your Happiness No. 17 by Lin Jingjing. It changed hands for a price of CNY 88,500.00 (€ 12,798.14) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of CNY 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lin Jingjing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work My Promise for Your Happiness No. 8 in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 62,534.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Sothebys in Beijing die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit My Promise For Your Happiness No. 17 von Lin Jingjing zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von CNY 88.500,00 (€ 12.798,14) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von CNY 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lin Jingjing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit My Promise for Your Happiness No. 8 im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 62.534,11).
