Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Constantly, Consistently by Lin Jingjing was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in Hong Kong in March this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 254,000.00 (€ 29,740.80). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lin Jingjing - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work My Promise for Your Happiness No. 8, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 62,534.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Constantly, Consistently von Lin Jingjing wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 254.000,00 (€ 29.740,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Lin Jingjing mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit My Promise for Your Happiness No. 8 beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 62.534,11) versteigert wurde.
