Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pondering by Lin Hukui was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 12,160.28). Admittedly, works by Lin Hukui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cranes in Snow in May 2011 with an auction result of HKD 560,000.00 (€ 50,094.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pondering von Lin Hukui kam im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 12.160,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lin Hukui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cranes in Snow im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 560.000,00 (€ 50.094,60).
