Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers by Lin Hukui was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 35,400.00 (€ 3,986.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lin Hukui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cranes in Snow in May 2011 with an auction result of HKD 560,000.00 (€ 50,094.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers von Lin Hukui kam im Oktober 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.400,00 (€ 3.986,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lin Hukui erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cranes in Snow im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 560.000,00 (€ 50.094,60).
