Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Slash Ii; Slash V (Set Of Two Pieces) (Painted In 2022; Executed In 2022) by Lin Bao Ling. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 25,000.00 – 55,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 30,635.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lin Bao Ling - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fallen Flowers Ii (Painted In 2020), which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 84,000.00 (€ 85,780.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Slash Ii; Slash V (Set Of Two Pieces) (Painted In 2022; Executed In 2022) von Lin Bao Ling zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 25.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 30.635,87) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Lin Bao Ling mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fallen Flowers Ii (Painted In 2020) beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 84.000,00 (€ 85.780,43) versteigert wurde.
