This artwork by Lin Bao Ling achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2021. In the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction, the work Sky Lantern Ii (Painted In 2020) sold for HKD 103,840.00 (€ 11,117.70) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 58,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lin Bao Ling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fallen Flowers Ii (Painted In 2020) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 84,000.00 (€ 85,780.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 79 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lin Bao Ling erzielte im April 2021 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Sky Lantern Ii (Painted In 2020) für HKD 103.840,00 (€ 11.117,70) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 58.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lin Bao Ling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fallen Flowers Ii (Painted In 2020) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 84.000,00 (€ 85.780,43).
