Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli and International Art, which included the work White Sheets by Liliane Klapisch. The price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,286.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Liliane Klapisch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2009 for USD 25,000.00 (€ 16,673.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli and International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit White Sheets von Liliane Klapisch zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.286,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Liliane Klapisch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2009 für USD 25.000,00 (€ 16.673,34) versteigert wurde.
