A top price for Liliane Klapisch - as previously expected
This work without title by Liliane Klapisch was sold in the Israeli and International Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2009. The auction ended at the price of USD 25,000.00 (€ 16,673.34), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Liliane Klapisch that we have observed at auctions so far.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Liliane Klapisch wurde im November 2009 in der Auktion Israeli and International Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 16.673,34) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Liliane Klapisch, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
