In May 2008 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work The Endless Game by Lien Chien-Hsing. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 487,500.00 (€ 40,134.16), 63% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lien Chien-Hsing; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Guarding Sukhavati (the Land of the Pure) sold at auction in November 2007 with the realized price of HKD 463,500.00 (€ 40,518.38).

Im Mai 2008 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Endless Game von Lien Chien-Hsing zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 487.500,00 (€ 40.134,16) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Lien Chien-Hsing; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Guarding Sukhavati (the Land of the Pure) im November 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 463.500,00 (€ 40.518,38).
