Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Typhoon Night by Lien Chien-Hsing was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. The price achieved of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 16,881.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 220,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lien Chien-Hsing - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Guarding Sukhavati (the Land of the Pure), which sold at auction in November 2007 for HKD 463,500.00 (€ 40,518.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Typhoon Night von Lien Chien-Hsing kam im Mai 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 16.881,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 220.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lien Chien-Hsing mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Guarding Sukhavati (the Land of the Pure) beobachtet, die im November 2007 für HKD 463.500,00 (€ 40.518,38) versteigert wurde.
