Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Breakthrough by Lien Chien-Hsing was sold in the Asian Contemporary Sale (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2008. The price achieved of HKD 312,500.00 (€ 28,962.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Other works by Lien Chien-Hsing have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work Guarding Sukhavati (the Land of the Pure) was auctioned for HKD 463,500.00 (€ 40,518.38).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 312.500,00 (€ 28.962,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden.
