Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Christies in Paris held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Landscapes by Liang Yuwei. The price achieved of HKD 35,280.00 (€ 4,122.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 25,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liang Yuwei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Couplet in Clerical Script in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 34,794.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscapes von Liang Yuwei zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.280,00 (€ 4.122,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 25.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Yuwei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Couplet in Clerical Script im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 34.794,45).
