Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poem In Running Script Calligraphy by Liang Tongshu was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2017. The price achieved of HKD 5,900.00 (€ 649.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liang Tongshu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Scrolls in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 690,000.00 (€ 67,543.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Poem In Running Script Calligraphy von Liang Tongshu wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 5.900,00 (€ 649,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liang Tongshu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Scrolls im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 690.000,00 (€ 67.543,29).
