Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script by Liang Tongshu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,714.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liang Tongshu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Scrolls in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 690,000.00 (€ 67,543.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script von Liang Tongshu kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.714,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liang Tongshu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Scrolls im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 690.000,00 (€ 67.543,29).
