Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work Running Script Calligraphy by Liang Tongshu for HKD 48,000.00 (€ 5,752.10). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liang Tongshu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Scrolls in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 690,000.00 (€ 67,543.29).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphy von Liang Tongshu für HKD 48.000,00 (€ 5.752,10) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liang Tongshu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Scrolls im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 690.000,00 (€ 67.543,29).
