Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nine-character Calligraphic Couplet in Regular Script by Liang Qichao was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June this year. The price achieved of HKD 138,600.00 (€ 16,195.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liang Qichao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Kaishu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 4,160,000.00 (€ 480,774.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nine-character Calligraphic Couplet in Regular Script von Liang Qichao kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 138.600,00 (€ 16.195,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liang Qichao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Kaishu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.160.000,00 (€ 480.774,05).
