Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Senza titolo by Li Yuan-Chia was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in February last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 20,160.00 (€ 2,297.28) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Yuan-Chia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work UNTITLED in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 78,503.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Senza titolo von Li Yuan-Chia kam im Februar letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 20.160,00 (€ 2.297,28) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Yuan-Chia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit UNTITLED im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 78.503,25).
