Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Senza titolo by Li Yuan-Chia for HKD 47,880.00 (€ 5,189.96). This price was achieved in the auction Eclectic at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Yuan-Chia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work UNTITLED in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 78,503.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Senza titolo von Li Yuan-Chia für HKD 47.880,00 (€ 5.189,96) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Eclectic bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Yuan-Chia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit UNTITLED im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 78.503,25).
