This artwork by Li Yihong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. In the Contemporary Literati: Early Ink Masters auction, the work Maple Leaves In Forest sold for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 17,792.78) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Li Yihong; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Scholars Gathering At The Pavilion sold at auction in April 2018 with the realized price of HKD 306,800.00 (€ 32,372.30).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Li Yihong erzielte im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Literati: Early Ink Masters wurde die Arbeit Maple Leaves In Forest für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 17.792,78) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00.
