Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bodhi Tree by Li Yihong was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings (I) auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2013. The price achieved of HKD 115,000.00 (€ 10,912.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Yihong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Scholars Gathering At The Pavilion, which sold at auction in April 2018 for HKD 306,800.00 (€ 32,372.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bodhi Tree von Li Yihong wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings (I) bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 115.000,00 (€ 10.912,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Yihong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Scholars Gathering At The Pavilion beobachtet, die im April 2018 für HKD 306.800,00 (€ 32.372,30) versteigert wurde.
