Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Literati: Early Ink Masters, which included the work Gazing At Pines by Li Yihong. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 87,500.00 (€ 8,303.30). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Yihong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Scholars Gathering At The Pavilion, which sold at auction in April 2018 for HKD 306,800.00 (€ 32,372.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Literati: Early Ink Masters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gazing At Pines von Li Yihong zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 87.500,00 (€ 8.303,30) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Yihong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Scholars Gathering At The Pavilion beobachtet, die im April 2018 für HKD 306.800,00 (€ 32.372,30) versteigert wurde.
