Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gazing Out The Window by Li Yihong was sold in the Contemporary Ink Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,301.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Li Yihong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scholars Gathering At The Pavilion in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 306,800.00 (€ 32,372.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Gazing Out The Window von Li Yihong wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Contemporary Ink Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.301,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Li Yihong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scholars Gathering At The Pavilion im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 306.800,00 (€ 32.372,30).
