Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Landscape Album by Li Yanshan. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 44,625.00 (€ 5,537.60) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Yanshan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poolside Studio in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 4,615,000.00 (€ 525,321.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape Album von Li Yanshan zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 44.625,00 (€ 5.537,60) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Yanshan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poolside Studio im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.615.000,00 (€ 525.321,40).
