Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink, which included the work Spring Snow by Li Xiaoke. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 812,500.00 (€ 93,909.97). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Xiaoke - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Homeland, which sold at auction in October 2015 for HKD 2,360,000.00 (€ 275,710.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spring Snow von Li Xiaoke zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 812.500,00 (€ 93.909,97) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Xiaoke mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Homeland beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für HKD 2.360.000,00 (€ 275.710,92) versteigert wurde.
