A top price for Li Xiaoke - as previously expected
In October 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Ink Art, which included the work Homeland by Li Xiaoke. The price achieved of HKD 2,360,000.00 (€ 275,710.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 2,000,000.00 – 2,500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Homeland is the most expensive artwork by Li Xiaoke that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Ink Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Homeland von Li Xiaoke zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 2.360.000,00 (€ 275.710,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 2.000.000,00 – 2.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Homeland das teuerste Kunstwerk von Li Xiaoke, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
