The work Scholar Walking On The Bridge by Li Liufang was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,478.17), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Liufang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 1,150,000.00 (€ 1,070,663.81).

Die Arbeit Scholar Walking On The Bridge von Li Liufang wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.478,17) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Liufang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.150.000,00 (€ 1.070.663,81).
