Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2024 POLY held the auction Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors IV, which included the work Five-Character Calligraphic Couplet In Cursive Script by Li Liufang. The price achieved of HKD 24,000.00 (€ 3,687.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 18,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Liufang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 1,150,000.00 (€ 1,070,663.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2024 führte POLY die Auktion Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors IV durch, in der auch die Arbeit Five-Character Calligraphic Couplet In Cursive Script von Li Liufang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 24.000,00 (€ 3.687,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 18.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Liufang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.150.000,00 (€ 1.070.663,81).
