Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Boating Alone by Li Liufang. It changed hands for a price of HKD 118,750.00 (€ 13,203.80) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Liufang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 1,150,000.00 (€ 1,070,663.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Boating Alone von Li Liufang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 13.203,80) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Liufang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.150.000,00 (€ 1.070.663,81).
