Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online, which included the work A Midsummer Night's Dream by Li Lei. The price achieved of HKD 22,680.00 (€ 2,717.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Lei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shanghai Flower No.73 in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 31,432.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Midsummer Night's Dream von Li Lei zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 22.680,00 (€ 2.717,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Lei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shanghai Flower No.73 im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 31.432,09).
