A top price for Li Lei - as previously expected
The work Shanghai Flower No.73 by Li Lei was sold in the Modern Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 31,432.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 400,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Shanghai Flower No.73 is the most expensive artwork by Li Lei that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Shanghai Flower No.73 von Li Lei wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 31.432,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Shanghai Flower No.73 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Li Lei, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
