Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings, which included the work Eat Drink Men and Women by Li Jin. It changed hands for a price of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 30,129.95) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Jin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Feast (Set Of Five) in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,840,000.00 (€ 319,968.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eat Drink Men and Women von Li Jin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 30.129,95) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Jin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Feast (Set Of Five) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.840.000,00 (€ 319.968,53).
