Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Trojan by Li Jikai was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2013. The price achieved of HKD 184,000.00 (€ 17,460.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 220,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Jikai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Growth Time, which sold at auction in March 2008 for USD 109,000.00 (€ 68,965.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Trojan von Li Jikai kam im Oktober 2013 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 184.000,00 (€ 17.460,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 220.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Jikai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Growth Time beobachtet, die im März 2008 für USD 109.000,00 (€ 68.965,52) versteigert wurde.
