This artwork by Li Huasheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Landscapes sold for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 12,300.01) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Huasheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cottage under Pine, which sold at auction in May 2014 for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 30,736.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Li Huasheng erzielte im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Landscapes für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 12.300,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Huasheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cottage under Pine beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für HKD 325.000,00 (€ 30.736,80) versteigert wurde.
