Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2021 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Herding by Li Huasheng. It changed hands for a price of HKD 13,750.00 (€ 1,465.62) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Huasheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cottage under Pine in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 30,736.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2021 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Herding von Li Huasheng zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 13.750,00 (€ 1.465,62) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Huasheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cottage under Pine im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 30.736,80).
