Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Li Huasheng was sold in the A Selection of Chen Wen Hsi Paintings and Modern and Contemporary Ink Art auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 59,000.00 (€ 6,943.08) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Li Huasheng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cottage under Pine in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 30,736.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Li Huasheng wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion A Selection of Chen Wen Hsi Paintings and Modern and Contemporary Ink Art bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 59.000,00 (€ 6.943,08) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Li Huasheng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cottage under Pine im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 30.736,80).
