This artwork by Li Huasheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 11,821.85) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Huasheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cottage under Pine, which sold at auction in May 2014 for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 30,736.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 79 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Li Huasheng erzielte im Mai 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 11.821,85) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Huasheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cottage under Pine beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für HKD 325.000,00 (€ 30.736,80) versteigert wurde.
