Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Sothebys in Beijing held the auction Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work Landscape by Li Huasheng. The price achieved of CNY 59,000.00 (€ 8,532.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Huasheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cottage under Pine, which sold at auction in May 2014 for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 30,736.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Sothebys in Beijing die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Li Huasheng zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 59.000,00 (€ 8.532,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Huasheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cottage under Pine beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für HKD 325.000,00 (€ 30.736,80) versteigert wurde.
