In May 2005 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction FINE MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY CHINESE PAINTINGS, which included the work Fishing Village by Li Huasheng. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 21,600.00 (€ 2,249.38), 44% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Huasheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cottage under Pine in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 30,736.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 44 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2005 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion FINE MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY CHINESE PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fishing Village von Li Huasheng zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 21.600,00 (€ 2.249,38) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Huasheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cottage under Pine im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 30.736,80).
