Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2014 Sothebys in Beijing held the auction Chinese Art, which included the work Eat; Drink; Play And Be Merry (Quadriptych) by Li Guijun. The price achieved of CNY 1,652,000.00 (€ 194,523.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 1,400,000.00 – 2,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by Li Guijun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 140 Art Studio in December 2013 with an auction result of CNY 7,080,000.00 (€ 848,839.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2014 führte Sothebys in Beijing die Auktion Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eat; Drink; Play And Be Merry (Quadriptych) von Li Guijun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 1.652.000,00 (€ 194.523,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 1.400.000,00 – 2.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Li Guijun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 140 Art Studio im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 7.080.000,00 (€ 848.839,54).
