A top price for Li Guijun - as previously expected
In December 2013 Sothebys in Beijing held the auction Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work 140 Art Studio by Li Guijun. The price achieved of CNY 7,080,000.00 (€ 848,839.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 6,000,000.00 – 10,000,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, 140 Art Studio is the most expensive artwork by Li Guijun that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Dezember 2013 führte Sothebys in Beijing die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit 140 Art Studio von Li Guijun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 7.080.000,00 (€ 848.839,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 6.000.000,00 – 10.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist 140 Art Studio das teuerste Kunstwerk von Li Guijun, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
